At Culpepper we have many varied types of activities: outings, shopping trips, performance groups to entertain, a local artist that teaches oil painting, bridge groups and monthly special theme events. We try to encourage our residents to participate in as many as they would like. We recognize the importance and value it brings into our residents lives.

Partnering With the Local Neighborhood Community

We at Culpepper try to support many of our local agencies and groups. Our residents make items for Hospice, have collected items to send to our troops overseas and generally are always willing to support these groups when we are asked. We have groups that hold their monthly meetings at Culpepper Place.

Fine Dining

We have restaurant dining serving three meals a day to our residents. Because our meal times are such a big part of our residents day, we try to have theme meals that the residents find fun. It might be a special buffet, or the staff dressed in silly costumes to support the meal theme. When you visit Culpepper Place, you will find that all department heads serve meals. We do this so that we all know our residents and can notice any important changes in them. When someone visits us, they will find our dining room filled with chatter …. This means that our residents are engaged and happy.
