At Emeritus at Urbandale our activities and social calendar revolve around the residents...what they want and what they enjoy. Residents enjoy the array of activities, community outings, and live entertainment they can choose to be a part of.

Emeritus at Urbandale understands that keeping residents involved and active is an important piece to their happiness at our community. We not only target the resident's physical needs, but also their social, emotional, cultural and spritual needs through our activities.

Partnering with the Local Neighborhood Community

We feel it is important to have relationships with our local community organizations. For example, we provide other seniors in the area with monthly blood pressure checks at various senior centers. We also host a monthly support group for anyone caring for an aging loved one.

Emeritus at Urbandale is passionately involved with the community. As a national sponsor for the fight against Alzheimer’s we work closely with local and national businesses to raise money and awareness for the cause. We have developed relationships with members of the surrounding community and are proud to boast of our caring and dedicated volunteers who actively engage the residents. Emeritus at Urbandale also welcome outside friends and families of those caring for aging loved ones to join us for our monthly support group.

Fine Dining

Offering a variety of nutritious and delicious meals, Emeritus at Urbandale takes pride in our dining services. We promote choice in all menu selections and cater to the needs with those with special dining requirements. We also recommend friends and family to join their loved ones for any meal. In addition to three meals served daily in our full service dining room, Emeritus promotes resident health by offering three healthy snacks.
