Our bus provides a continuous connection with our community as we drive to various locations or enjoy visiting entertainers. The Emeritus of Arborwood activity program is headed by our life enrichment director and offers daily options to choose from and enjoy. From exercise class to the flower garden, site seeing to in-house dance lessons, Arborwood remains an active community. Local schools volunteer at Arborwood and we are blessed to have many visitors every day. Our family involvement is indicative of the comfortable setting with staff and family that make a difference every day. Partnering with the Local Community
Emeritus of Arborwood is a proud member of our community through the Chamber of Commerce, Continued Care Consortium, Better Business Bureau, as well as the Alzheimer's Association, the Diabetes Foundation, and a local Brain Works Center. Three dominations of religious services are offered in Arborwood and we are blessed to have community churches offering faith-based interaction with us.
Emeritus of Arborwood enjoys the many options of local entertainment. From the South Bend Chocolate Factory and Studebaker Museum, to the University of Notre Dame and the South Bend Silver Hawks, our residents enjoy the many opportunities to stay involved and engaged in the community.
Fine Dining
Emeritus of Arborwood provides three dietetically-prescribed meals a day with a snack offered in between. Have a change of flavor, pick from the variety of soups, sandwiches, salads and desserts available 24/7 in our menu. Call a chef to your table and they will do their best to provide you a meal beyond your expectation. Join us and invite a friend for a meal. Visitors are always welcome as part of our family.
