Assisted Living Services
While Brentwood is independent living, we recognize some residents may need a little more assistance with ADLs (activities of daily living) than others. Many residents get assistance from outside agencies allowing them to continue in an independent living community such as Brentwood. Some just need reminders and the Brentwood concierge staff is happy to help. All of these options allow residents to remain in a more cost efficient independent living community like Brentwood before needing to transition to a community that provides a higher level of care, such as Assisted Living.
Although not a focus of the Brentwood community, we understand memory loss conditions and their progressions. Given the expertise of Emeritus with both Dementia and Alzheimer’s, Brentwood is well prepared to assist with the early stages of both. The routine and social safety net established at Brentwood, along with a caring staff allow residents with early dementia to flourish longer and stay cognitively stimulated among friends and neighbors.
