A Wonderful Active Lifestyle
Emeritus at Rockford takes monthly bus trips for lunches, shopping, special plays and concerts. Twice a year we take our residents to the casino. During the month we have several entertainers and programs in addition to Petland visits. Daily activities include exercise, bingo, crafts, and baking. We have a monthly birthday dinner which the residents have selected the menu themselves. We have huge holiday parties with Santa, the Easter Bunny etc for photo opportunities. We have monthly family night with a variety of entertainment and informational topics.
Fine Dining
Our Dining Services Director has over 60 years of experience preparing the the best homemade meals. At Rockford, we feel that every meal is an experience. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is about good food, good company and enjoying life. We have wonderful holiday feasts, during mother's day, father's day 4th of July, just to name a few!
Our meals are mostly homemade and from scratch. we do not use powdered eggs or instant potatoes and we make fabulous desserts. The Dining Services Director has been cooking and overseeing kitchens for 60 years. We also have holiday feasts that include a Mother's day prime rib carving station, Father's day cookouts, 4th of July cookouts and our New Years eve party is talked about throughout the year because of our food and entertainment.
