Social activities are an important aspect of senior living. We offer a variety of activites that will stimulate your body and mind. We offer ceramics and craft classes, numerous card games, trivia, exercise classes, book clubs, movies, billiards and internet classes. We host large holiday parties with professional entertainment and an extravagent holiday meal. Family is always an important party of our activities. We always welcome family to participate and enjoy our entertainment, special parties and celebrations.

Partnering with the Local Neighborhood Community:

We host local events in our community. We work closely with the Alzheimer's Association and Leeza's Place which is a Caregiver Support Network. We host a monthly caregiver support group meeting on our campus. We host a Flu Shot Clinic annually by offering flu shots to the public. We sponsor various events with Will County Senior Services. Our Kitchen staff is currently providing desserts for the Meals on Wheels program which distributes meals to homebound seniors. We host a monthly educational series for the public that includes topics on health, finance, wellness and a host of others. We are members of the Joliet Chamber of Commerce and sponser events through their organization.

Fine Dining

We offer restaurant style dining. All of our meals are homemade with your choice of 2 entrees at lunch and dinner. We have a salad bar available at our lunch meal. We host special event dinners.

In our memory care cottages, we also serve three meals a day – always with a choice – as well as frequent snacks. All of our snacks are easy-to-eat finger foods, which helps ensure that residents get proper nutrition. This is especially important for memory care residents, as it’s often difficult to get them to sit down for a meal. Allowing them to walk around while eating is the best way we can make sure they are getting the calories they need. Colorful hydration stations with punch and juices are also located throughout the community.
