The Perfect Location

Terrace at Woodstock is located approximately 5 miles from interstate 575 off of Highway 92 on Neese Road; we are approximately 30 miles north of Atlanta. Terrace at Woodstock is the perfect location as we are relatively close to Marietta, Roswell, Alpharetta, Kennesaw and Canton; Woodstock is a small rural area close to shopping, physicians offices, parks and recreation. The local Senior center is approximately 10 minutes from the community. For a Community with a small town feel, Terrace at Woodstock is where it's at!

Terrace at Woodstock is unique in various ways. As you walk in the front doors of our community, you will "feel" the difference. We're not a fancy place, but a down to earth, homelike Community. If your looking for fancy, we're not it! We pride ourselves on calling Terrace at Woodstock our home away from home; residents and staff alike. We truly believe it when we say "once a family member, always a family member". We have friends that no longer have a family members living with us that continue to visit on a regular basis; once you feel the love and caring that comes with being a family member of our community, you will understand the concept of "Once a family member, always a family member"! It is our ultimate goal to ensure that "Everyday we make a difference in our residents lives". Terrace at Woodstock has three different apartment options...semi-companion living, studio apartment living and one bedroom apartment living. Terrace at Woodstock also has a Memory Care Community for residents who have advanced dementia, Alzheimer's disease and/or other dementia related diseases that require a "secure" living environment. A large benefit of Terrace at Woodstock is that we are one level; no elevators and/or stairs to be concerned with.

Strong, Caring Professional Relationships

Terrace at Woodstock has valuable relationships with outside agencies that may service our residents at some point in time. Residents who have medical type needs on a temporary basis may require the services of a Home Health agency; Terrace at Woodstock has been working with the same home health company for approximately 13 years and are more than happy to recommend them and or any other outside agency as needed. Outside agencies are held to the same standards that our employees are held to when providing services to our residents at Terrace at Woodstock. Terrace at Woodstock has strong ties with the First Baptist Church of Woodstock; they have performed various volunteer projects for us over the years, provide worship services on Sundays in the Community, and provide a monthly "Birthday Bash" for our residents with birthdays during the given month. Terrace at Woodstock has relationships with numerous churches in the surrounding Community so that our residents spiritual needs can be met based on denominational preference. Terrace at Woodstock has various affilitations with medical professionals that can be recommended if you are coming from out of state and/or are in need of a specific physician/specialty. Terrace at Woodstock also fosters relationships with local skilled nursing homes, local senior centers, local fire departments and/or police departments.

Our Staff

Employees at Terrace at Woodstock are personally interviewed and hired by our Executive Director-Kimberly Taylor, our Assistant Executive Director-April Young and our Resident Care Director-Stephanie Brookshire to ensure not only that they are able to perform the physical skills required in caring for our residents, but that they are suitable for interacting with our residents on a more personal level . Employees that become a "family member" of Terrace at Woodstock must exude a sense of "This is what I've always wanted to do", "I love working with the elderly", "I Love my Job!" It is evident to all who walk in our front doors that our employees do "Love their jobs". The longevity of our staff members speaks for itself; Our Executive Director has been in the Community for over five years, The Assistant Executive Director has been in the Community for over nine years and we have various care staff members that have been with our Community anywhere from three to ten years! We are very proud of our employees which also double as "Family members" here at Terrace at Woodstock.
