At Emeritus at Vinings Place we have a full schedule of activities. Our Memory Care Director/Life Enrichment Director carefully plans our program to include Social, Physical, Mental, Spiritual and Cultural enriching activities. Residents are encouraged to participate. Our goal is for our residents to have their Best day.

Our Life Enrichment Program provides activities that are tailored to our residents’ capabilities. Outings are planned to local landmarks such as Georgia Aquarium, The World of Coke, Marietta Diner, Howard's Diner, Cumberland Mall and Zoo Atlanta. Our residents are encouraged to participate in activities that they have been involved with during their lifetime; gardening, fishing, cooking, puzzles, reading and sewing. We adapt the activity to the residents' current abilities.

Partnering with the Community

Emeritus at Vinings Place opens its senior living community to area civic and religious groups. We encourage visits from Girl and Boy Scout troops, Churches and Synagogues and senior citizens center groups. We participate in neighborhood events such as Church Yard Sales, Health Fairs, Alzheimer’s Association fundraisers and school events.

Emeritus at Vinings Place is passionate about being involved in the Vinings, Smyrna and Cobb County community. We are involved in the Alzheimer's Association Georgia Chapter. Monthly support groups are held for caregivers. A new support group has begun for spouses caring for someone with Early Onset Dementia. Educational Seminars are also offered to help with health issues and financial support.
