This is a simple promise that the staff at Emeritus at Vinings Place- and throughout Emeritus Senior Living communities- has shared since 1998, when our assisted living community first opened its doors. It's a simple promise to be compassionate and kind, understanding and respectful- a promise to become extended family to the seniors entrusted in our care.

The Perfect Location

Emeritus at Vinings Place is ideally located in a quiet area off the beaten track. It is far enough away to be out of the bustle and noise, yet close enough for convenience. Our Smyrna, Georgia assisted living community is located near Cumberland Mall, Downtown Atlanta and the Silver Comet Trail. The Silver Comet Trail is over 61 miles long, and starts near our assisted living community in Smyrna, Georgia. It is quiet, non-motorized trail for walkers, hikers, bicyclists, rollerbladers, horses, dog walkers, and is wheelchair accessible.

A Wonderful Selection

With its family-friendly atmosphere, Emeritus at Vinings Place feels like home the minute you walk through the door. The community has four separate neighborhoods, each with its own living room, dining room and kitchen. Our residents have their meals in an intimate dining room designed to feel like they are eating at home with their family. We have a large community center with a theater area and access to a secure one acre courtyard.

Our small, intimate community offers 52 senior apartments on one floor for easy access. No stairs or elevators to make it difficult to maneuver around. There are 4 separate neighborhoods; each with its own living room, dining room and kitchen.The large community center offers a large screen television, reading and game areas and access to our secure courtyard. There is a lovely gazebo located in the courtyard.

Strong, Caring Relationships

We nurture strong relationships with area hospitals, skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers such as: Piedmont Hospital, Emory Adventist Hospital, Cobb Hospital, Ridgeview Institute, Delmar Gardens of Smyrna, The William Breman Jewish Home, Signature of Buckhead and Marietta and AG Rhodes of Cobb. Through the communications and relationships that we share with key staff within these affiliations, we provide seamless continuum of care for our residents.

Our Staff

Emeritus at Vinings Place has a team of staff that has longevity at the community. Several staff members have tenures that began when the community opened in 1998. The management team is comprised of professionals who have many years of experience working with seniors. We are selective when choosing staff to join our team and serve our residents. Only those with a caring heart and experience working with seniors are accepted into our family.
