Mary celebrated her 101st Birthday on Friday, January 20th at Brookside Senior Living, where she has resided for several years.
She claims that water, exercise, and good genes are reasons she has lived so long and often jokes with us that, “They’re gonna have to shoot me on Judgment Day,” and “God’s just not ready for me yet”. Every morning Mary is the first to exercise and often encourages fellow residents to join her exclaiming, “Everybody needs exercise”.
We all sang ‘Happy Birthday,’ Mary finished our song with “And Many More…”
