Tampa Senior Living Community

A Wonderful Active Lifestyle

Emeritus at Northdale senior living community has two separate activity programs, each designed with the residents’ enjoyment and activity level in mind. Northdale also features a "Guardian Angel" program. This program enlists several of our residents as ambassadors to welcome our new Emeritus residents. They are greeted, introduced and escorted to our activities and dining. This program is rewarding both to the “Angels” and to seniors new to our community.

Our residents enjoy weekly outings to the above listed nearby attractions, with regularly scheduled luncheons and visits to restaurants and retail centers. Northdale has a gardening club whose members grow and harvest organic vegetables for use in our restaurant. We have a “Legacy Group” which captures each senior's life story for future generations, through the use of scrapbooking and journaling.

Partnering with the Local Neighborhood Community

Emeritus at Northdale is a proud participant and sponsor of the yearly Alzheimer's Walk. We host a variety of fundraising events for this worthwhile cause, and partner with world renowned USF Center for Alzheimer Research to provide speakers on related topics for our local community.

Emeritus at Northdale has a monthly schedule of events planned for both our residents and families in the local community. We host focus groups for Alzheimer's families, monthly health specialty clinics, and professionals speaking about veterans benefits, crime prevention, and behavior and communication techniques.

Fine Dining

Three delicious meals are offered, featuring both a la carte and specialty entrees. Each meal consists of three healthy courses; a homemade soup and dessert are part of each meal. Our residents enjoy room service each evening when our complimentary snack cart makes the rounds dispensing fresh baked goodies and milk before bedtime.
