The ivories on our antique Steinway piano in the lobby are in use on a regular basis; outside entertainers thrill at being able to play on this beautiful instrument. Life here at Emeritus at Beneva Park senior living community is accentuated by a wide variety of entertainers, events, celebrations and activities, while life away from Emeritus at Beneva includes our mystery bus trips, lunches out at local establishments, trips to the beaches and parks Sarasota is renowned for, and whatever else our residents express an interest in.

Our activity program is coordinated by our life enrichment director who counts on the suggestions and opinions of our resident activities council. By using this approach, we ensure that activities we offer are of interest to many of the residents. Outings to local sights of interest, various shopping outlets, cultural events and beaches are well attended.

Partnering with the Local Community

Volunteers are a big part Emeritus at Beneva Park. We have local people of various ages who love to come in and conduct small and large group activities. One recent volunteer led an anagram activity which ended with the residents forming just over 200 words in one session. Health fairs and open houses with speakers provide everyone who lives here an opportunity to learn about new health and wellness initiatives and products.

Fine Dining

Meal time at Emeritus at Beneva Park is a restaurant-style dining experience served in the elegant surroundings of our dining room. Private dining is available for small family gatherings, and guests are always invited to share a meal. International coffee hour is held in conjunction with our news and views session, bringing a little international flair too our group! For those who want a more hands-on food experience, they can participate in our cooking class. I hear the Stromboli was delicious!
