At Emeritus at Lakeland, we have a wide variety of activities for our residents. With this in mind we individualize activities to meet the needs of our assisted living and the memory care residents. Residents enjoy a variety of live entertainment, happy hour, games for large and small groups, and going to out to eat, shopping and mystery rides.

At Emeritus at Lakeland, we offer monthly theme meals where the resident council helps coordinate the event with our life enrichment director. The residents look forward to the senior prom and resident fashion show that we have on a yearly basis. For our holidays we invite the families to come and enjoy the holiday season with their loved one while we prepare the meals for them.

Partnering with the Local Neighborhood Community

Emeritus at Lakeland partners with our local home health companies to educate our residents about health care issues and insurances. Emeritus at Lakeland is very active with the Polk County Alzheimer’s Association. We offer monthly group meetings for local residents and community family and caregivers. Once a year the staff participates with the Memory Walk to benefit Alzheimer’s.
