Assisted Living Services
Emeritus at Lakeland has an in-house physician, podiatrist, optometrist, mental health care providers and choice of home health services for meeting the needs of your loved one. We encourage our residents to remain as independent as they can but our staff are always happy and ready to assist with any care they need. Our goal is to help our residents maintain their dignity and independence. As an Emeritus Community, we also have many outside resources to call upon to make us the best we can be for our residents.
Alzheimer's and Dementia Care Services
Emeritus at Lakeland has a secure memory care neighborhood with one on one activity to meet the individual needs of our residents. Our community offers an innovative program called "Join Their Journey" for resident's with Alzheimer’s or memory disorders. Within this environment our highly trained staff joins the residents in their moment, rather then trying to bring them into our reality. We also offer support groups to family, friends and caregivers of loved ones. Located in our community is a resource library for residents and families to access information on Alzheimer and dementia.

- To ensure that we meet your needs, we use a state-of-the-art computerized assessment system. This helps us accurately evaluate, predict and monitor assisted living services for each resident.
- In addition, our resident care director will visit with your loved one on a regular basis to personally discuss health-related issues and to monitor your progress.
