A Wonderful Place to Live

At Emeritus at The Lakes, we are guided by the wishes and desires of everyone who lives here. Through our resident, activity and food councils we offer activities and programs tailored to our resident’s interests. Whether it's aqua exercise, poetry reading, gardening, or enjoying our outings to arts and theatre venues, we have an activity for you.

Emeritus at The Lakes has a wide variety of activities, including aqua exercise, gardening, book and poetry clubs, music programs, and outings to theatres and dining. The life enrichment director works hard to make sure everyone enjoys weekly socials including a happy hour with live music, afternoon teas, movie nights, and even ballroom dancing exhibitions on site.

Partnering with the Local Community

Emeritus at The Lakes partners with many organizations in the local community. Our staff and residents collect and deliver donated food for the Harry Chapin Food Bank, host monthly support groups, participate in fund raising for the Alzheimer’s Association, and provide hours of volunteer work to The Salvation Army. We are also called upon by local organizations to assist when seniors are in immediate need of assistance.

Emeritus at The Lakes is a supporter of the local community, offering time, space and resources to various organizations, including The Alzheimer’s Association, the local food bank, and Salvation Army. Local experts in their field offer seminars at our location that are both informative and sometimes entertaining.
