Residents enjoy our city's great attractions, including the Edison - Ford Winter Estate, The Shell Factory, and of course, our beautiful beaches and parks. While peaceful and tranquil, US 41 and 75 are close by as are various medical and senior resource centers.

Emeritus at The Lakes has a wide range of senior apartment sizes, offering everything from a small studio to a two-bedroom, two bath, some with kitchens and others with kitchenettes.

Our retirement community has everything you need under one roof including an exercise room, heated swimming pool, courtyards, beauty/ barber shop, game room with a pool table, chapel, library, general store and large community and living rooms. Our residents and their families can sit and enjoy beautiful golf course views, serene water views or beautiful park views from our living areas and lanais. We love the occasions when we see young grandchildren visiting with their grandparents by the pool or other gathering spots.

Strong, Caring Professional Relationships

We regularly meet with our medical community and have strong relationships with Lee Memorial Hospital Systems, and rehab centers including Manor Care, Heartland, and Health Park. Our professional relationships allow us to achieve the most up-to-date information to allow for an easy transition to assisted living.

Our Staff

Our dedicated staff includes some who have been here since the doors opened in 1999! Our management staff has a combination of 22 years with Emeritus Senior Living and 40 + years serving the senior population. The Lakes team leader is not only an executive director but also a nurse with a keen eye for care! We pride ourselves on the education and knowledge of our staff as it relates to senior care.
