This is a simple promise that the staff at Emeritus at River Oaks - and throughout Emeritus Senior Living communities - has shared since 1985, when our community first opened its doors. Emeritus at River Oaks is nestled rural area with a nice warm feeling. The property is located only 3-5 miles from the heart of the city and the beach, making it far enough away to be out of the bustle and noise, yet close enough for convenience.

Emeritus at River Oaks is close to the beautiful Englewood beaches, and shopping in surrounding areas, the Elks club, and a variety of dining establishments are just around the corner. Enjoy beautiful Florida beaches and the Englewood neighborhood!

A Wonderful Selection

There are several senior apartment size options available at Emeritus at River Oaks, and each can be enjoyed as a private or companion accommodation. Apartment style living can be enjoyed in our 2-story structure that has it’s own private dining room and common areas, while a fine selection of apartments can be found in what we call our courtyard. This option is very unique to this area. Our retired, independent and assisted living residents can enjoy exiting from their apartment door straight out into the beautiful courtyard area. The memory care neighborhood is a secured building specifically designed for residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. We have had families tell us that our styles of living are very much like “condos with care” because they find the independent comfortable home-like feel that they want and the care that they need.

Strong, Caring Professional Relationships

We nurture strong relationships with area hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation centers such as Englewood Hospital, Englewood Rehab Center, Venice Hospital, Manor Care, Sunset Lake Rehab, Harmony, Pinebrook Rehab, Quality Rehab, Fawcett Hospital, Consulate Health Care, and Heritage Health Care to name a few. Through the communications and relationships that we share with key staff within these affiliations, we provide seamless continuum of care for our residents.

Our Staff

Emeritus at River Oaks has a management team that is comprised of professionals that have tenures as long at 14 years in our building. Emeritus at River Oaks has been selective when choosing who will make up this team to serve it's residents; only those with heart and experience are accepted into this family. And we look forward to serving you.
