At Emeritus at Deer Creek, our resident experience is unique and designed to provide peace of mind to families and loved ones. Our assisted living services are designed to allow our residents to continue to live in the community even as their needs change, such as needing extra help with personal care or daily activities. Our staff is gifted in their ability to offer help in a respectful and non-invasive way, so that residents can maintain as much independence as possible.

What’s more, the way that we provide assistance actually enhances our residents’ freedom and dignity. A helping hand is extended in a subtle way – not in a way that encourages dependence. Because of this philosophy, we see residents improving – and even thriving. Instead of sitting alone at home watching television, they are taking their medications on a regular basis, eating properly, being involved in activities and getting out into the community.

Memory Care Services

Through our "Join Their Journey” programming, we believe that our dementia and Alzheimer’s residents should not be expected to live in our world; we live in theirs. We provide 6 meals a day to ensure a calm atmosphere and guarantee that our residents’ nutritional needs are met. Our approach to a new resident is unique in that we ask our new families to provide their loved one’s life story. This enables us to get to know our new resident prior to entering our community. Our life stations reflect some of the important times in our residents’ lives, such as past occupations, experiences and enriching memories, which provide a way to redirect our loved residents in times of confusion.
