Partnering with the Local Neighborhood Community

Oak Park is passionate about being active in our community. Our focus is to hold events that add quality and value to the lives of others. We are an active member of the South Lake Chamber of Commerce and often participate in activities throughout the surrounding area including health fairs and senior expos. A variety of events are held within our community that bring the community and our residents together. We strive to be a resource to Lake County seniors and their families. We hold educational seminars to offer help with health issues, financial resources and awareness. Many community-based groups are active at Oak Park, such as members from the local Masonic Lodge, churches of many denominations, the Lyons Club, and many more.

Oak Park has many wonderful partnerships throughout the community, The Lyons Club is in monthly to celebrate the residents’ birthdays. We have wonderful church groups that hold services weekly and spend time with residents. Emeritus at Oak Park partners with the local High School and hold a senior prom at the community, where high school seniors and residents are able to interact in a fun environment. Our seniors support local elementary school literacy programs with our Grandfriends program. We do fundraisers for local and national charities such as our Annual PINK Party to raise money for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides against Breast Cancer Walk. Our residents truly enjoying being part of the community and we are often looking for ways to keep them involved in the community in which they have contributed so much to over the years.

Fine Dining

A choice of three homemade meals are served daily. Each meal offers a choice of a salad or soup to start, entree and desert. Meals are served in a restaurant-style atmosphere so that residents can enjoy conversation with the company at their table while enjoying a satisfying culinary experience. Chris, our chef, encourages feedback from our residents for our buffet and special occasion meals.
