This is a simple promise that the staff at Emeritus at Oak Park- and throughout Emeritus Senior Living communities- has shared since 1997, when our community first opened its doors. The Perfect Location

Emeritus at Oak Park is nestled between businesses and residences giving us a rural, warm feeling. The property is located near the intersection of Hwy 27 and Hwy 50, making us a convenient solution for those coming from surrounding cities to visit. We are just minutes from many favorite local hot spots including the Clermont Citrus Tower and Walt Disney World. We boast a wide variety of shops and restaurants.

The City of Clermont, which occupies 14.44 square miles or 9,245.1 acres, was founded in 1884 and incorporated in 1916. The city is conveniently accessible to Orlando via Florida Highway 50. Clermont’s landscape is like no other, rolling hills in every direction and a lake around every corner. Clermont is far enough from Orlando to feel like a small town but close enough to enjoy the amenities that the big city has to offer. Our bus provides day trips to local beaches and area attractions.

A Wonderful Selection

Emeritus at Oak Park has a small town feel. With 62 senior apartments and about 80 residents, we are able to get to know and love each other and welcome new residents and their loved ones to our family. Other residents who are part of our welcoming committee greet our residents upon move-in. Our staff takes part in getting to know each resident and their history and life story so we can meet the individual needs of each of our residents. Our apartments range in size and shape from companion suites at 374 square feet to large one-bedrooms at 752 square feet. We have a total of five floor plans in all. Companion apartments offer the best value. Apartment amenities include full bath with large easy to step-in shower, handrails in all bathrooms, kitchenette with full size refrigerator and microwaves, plenty of cabinet space and a sink. We also have screened patios with scenic views in most apartments, along with curtains, blinds and wall-to-wall carpeting, all utilities except telephone, internet service, individual climate control, pets welcome (up to 20 lbs.), and completely maintenance free, inside and out.

Our small, home-like retirement community has two levels with an elevator for easy access for our residents. Whether dining with friends in our main dining room or private dining area, relaxing with a good book in the library, kicking back in the TV room with our large screen TV, playing Rumikub, or strolling with friends along the walking paths around the community, residents and their loved ones have the opportunity to get to know one another and enjoy each other's company. Each day at Emeritus at Oak Park is about living life to the fullest and letting us take care of all the mundane daily chores.

Strong, Caring Professional Relationships

We nurture strong relationships with area hospitals, including South Lake and Health Central Hospitals, skilled nursing and rehab centers such as Health Central Park, Westminster Care, Ocoee Healthcare and Lake Bennet. Through the communications and relationships that we share with key staff within these affiliations, we provide seamless continuum of care for our residents.

Our Staff

Emeritus at Oak Park boasts a stable environment because of the longevity of our staff. Our team is comprised of professionals that have tenures as long at 11 years in our building. Emeritus at Oak Park has been very selective when choosing who will make up this team to serve our residents; only those with commitment to service and longevity as a goal are accepted into this family.
