Emeritus at College Park is set on beautiful landscaped grounds; you can feel the warmth and love when you walk through the doors. We have well-manicured tropical plants surrounding our retirement community that are native to this area. We are situated between residential and commercial areas where libraries, grocery stores, shopping malls, museums, parks and the beaches are just moments away. In the event our families need to access public transportation, we are on the bus line and have a stop just outside our doors.

Emeritus at College Park is located just 4 miles from the sandy white beaches of Anna Marie Island and Longboat Key. You will find many quaint shops and a variety of restaurants to choose from. Enjoy a two-mile trip to the Ringling Museum or tour the famous rose gardens that Mable Ringling planted herself. We are right down the street from the Oslo State Theater that offers many new and classic plays to pick from. We are also near Sarasota International Airport and convenient to highways US 41 and I75. A Wonderful Selection

At Emeritus of College Park, we offer two types of senior apartments: studio and deluxe. All of our apartments have fully handicap-accessible bathrooms, individual climate controlled units for your comfort, nice views out of your window, emergency call systems in both bathroom and main room, all with new carpet and updated wall colors. We do have a furnished apartment available for temporary or respite stays. We are a warm and upbeat family; our happy residents supply a lot of energy and spunk.

Our homey community has 85 senior apartments all on one level for easy access. We offer excellent care in both our assisted living and memory care neighborhood. We offer private parking for all residents. Our well-maintained landscaping offers privacy for a stroll along our walkways with friends or pets. We have a small but up-to-date library, private dining for you and your family, and we will help you plan special events. You can have your hair done before going out to dinner or just to sit and enjoy a movie in our theater. Each day at Emeritus at College Park is about living life to its fullest and letting us take care of you.

Strong, Caring Professional Relationships

We nurture strong relationships with area hospitals, rehabilitation centers and home health companies. A nurse practitioner visits our residents twice a week, in-house therapy services are provided by Genesis Rehab, we work closely with Tidwell Hospice, and residents have access to vision screening, dermatology screening and podiatrist services in the comfort of their apartments.

Our Staff

Our management leader is a nursing professional with over 20 years of experience in assisted living, and the care team is led by seasoned nurse with a true passion for what she does. The other department leaders serve with a total of 20 years healthcare experience in healthcare. Our RNs and LPN have been part of our team for more then 8 years; we pride ourselves on positive employee relationships and continuing education for all staff.

Accomplishments

We have received a deficiency-free survey 2009/ 2010 from Agency for Health Care Administration. We hold a Limited Nursing License, which is an upgrade from the standard assisted living license.
