What are the Signs and Symptoms of Dementia?

  • Memory loss
  • Problems talking
  • Inability to learn or remember new information
  • Difficulty planning or organizing
  • Problems with coordination and movement, often with walking
  • Personality changes such as irritability
  • Unclear or confused thinking
  • Inappropriate behavior
  • Paranoia (fearfulness)
  • Agitation
  • Hallucinations (seeing or hearing things that aren't there)
