A Wonderful Active Lifestyle
At Emeritus at Dover, our friendly staff is here to provide a helping hand, but only when you need it. Residents have choices and have the opportunity to offer suggestions through the activity and food council meetings held monthly about what they would like to do and eat. From live entertainment, a trip to the beach, or simply sitting under the shade of a tree, we want to make you feel at home and a member of our family.
We offer a wide range of activities each month, including community outings to the agricultural museum, Biggs Museum, Silver Lake, country trips to Byler's General Store for ice cream, and blueberry picking at Fifer's Orchard just to name a few.
In addition to our outings and daily resident social activities, Emeritus at Dover hosts several family and friend events throughout the year. Some of our featured events include the annual Easter egg hunt, a tasty Mother's Day brunch, a popular Luau and Crab Feast, and a festive Christmas celebration.
Partnering with the Local Neighborhood Community
Emeritus at Dover is passionate about community events. This year we joined forces with Compassionate Care Hospice and hosted a lemonade stand to raise money for the Alex's Lemonade Foundation for childhood cancer. We also partake annually in the Memory Care Walk and raise money in support of the Alzheimer's Association.
Fine Dining
Every meal is prepared to be enjoyable, nutritious, and delicious. All meals are served restaurant-style in our main dining room. There are always options, and we can assist with special diets such as diabetic, low sodium, and allergies.
