A Wonderful Active Lifestyle
Activities are given a high priority at Mountain Laurel. Our “Life Enhancement Coordinator” schedules and oversees a varied array of at least 6- 8 activities per day. Many of the ideas for what is planned come from the social history gathered from our resident’s “life story”. “Out Trips” are regular event and our new van is a comfortable ride.
Partnering with the Community
We are surrounded by schools, churches, and service organizations in a community where volunteers contribute hundreds of hours of time to enhancing the quality of life for all citizens. Thus there are concerts, plays, fairs, fundraisers, auctions, antique shows, garden tours, parades, sports events, and club meetings. Our staff and residents are always welcome to participate and attend such activities.
Fine Dining
Our beautiful and spacious dining area accommodates all of our Residents and three meals a day are served. It is restaurant style dining with a choice of two entrees, freshly cooked in our own kitchen. Our professionally trained wait- staff is required to wear uniforms suitable for their work. Seating is assigned so that a new resident will feel more confident that they have a place of their own when dining. Holidays are celebrated with special menus and monthly Birthdays lunches held the last Wednesday of the month. Musical entertainment is often featured.
