A Wonderful Place to Live
Life is good at Buckingham Estates Memory Care Community. As an assisted living community dedicated to memory-impairment, we provide a safe perimeter for independence and a high quality of life for our residents while providing peace of mind for their family. Our life enrichment programs are designed to meet the individual needs of each resident and to promote cognitive, sensory, creative and physical enhancement.
For individuals with memory impairment, mental stimulation, social engagement and spiritual uplifting are especially important on a day-to-day basis and the approach to each area may differ per individual. At Buckingham Estates, we rely on families to help us construct individualized care plans for their loved ones that address all of these areas as well as any other interests that may enhance their quality of life. Residents enjoy various programs such as group exercises, live entertainment, gardening, worship services, brain teasers, arts and crafts, as well as culinary arts to name a few.
Partnering with the Local Community
At Buckingham Estates Memory Care Community, we continue to partner with our local community organizations through our educational seminars on various health topics, community fundraising events, and our charitable donations to local organizations. At Buckingham Estates, we know the importance of supporting the community we serve.
At Buckingham Estates Memory Care Community, not only do we want to be considered home for your loved one, we also want to be a resource to our local community and our families. Through our monthly Alzheimer's support groups, educational seminars, and outreach programs, we are committed to providing the community with the information necessary to make good health-related decisions for both themselves and the people they care for.
Fine Dining
We at Buckingham Estates understand the importance of proper nutrition when it comes to individuals with dementia and Alzheimer's. Poor diet cannot only result in loss of weight, but also irritability, sleeplessness, bladder and bowel problems and increased disorientation. Because of this, we provide three nutritious meals and three snacks daily which are prepared by our experienced, caring dietary staff who can be observed in our dining rooms daily, ensuring that our residents are enjoying their meals and maintaining quality and service.
