Mountain Laurel has residents who are independent and move here for socialization, meals, housekeeping, transportation, and the access to care when needed. Other residents need medication management or help with their ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) such as showering, dressing, shaving, escorting, or cueing. If care is beyond the ability of our staff to keep a resident safe at all times, we work closely with At Home Agencies to provide private care. Our medical team is dedicated to regular assessments of our residents and provide appropriate care to enhance their quality of life. Our community has the luxury of a strong affiliation with the CT Alzheimer’s Association and Connecticut Assisted Living Association (CALA). These affiliations provide us with updated information and training support.
