Emeritus at Yorba Linda is conveniently located in north Orange County close to both the 57 and 91 freeways, allowing for easy access from anywhere in Orange County and the Inland Empire. Set on 2.5 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with a courtyard, walking trails and lovely gardens, Emeritus at Yorba Linda is considered on the premier continuing care communities in Orange County.

As a continuing care community we offer a tri-level of care campus- including Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing- here at Emeritus at Yorba Linda allowing your loved one to age in place by transitioning through our different care levels as necessary. Emeritus at Yorba Linda is centrally locating between Placentia Linda Hospital and St Jude Hospital which not only offer exceptional acute services but also draw excellent physicians to our community. We are also fortunate to have three primary care physicians, a podiatrist, and psychiatrist that will make “house call” appointments to our residents right in the comfort of their own apartment. Emeritus at Yorba Linda is conveniently located in a residential area near the Yorba Linda Senior Center (across the street), the fire department (4 blocks away), and numerous shopping centers. Our residents are always out and about in the community; they go out to lunch, to the movies, shopping, to local nail salons, to the local parks, and even go on larger outing to the local casinos, the Richard Nixon Library, the Long Beach Aquarium, downtown Disney, and many other local attractions.

A Wonderful Selection

As a premier senior living community, Emeritus at Yorba Linda offers sprawling landscape, large common areas and a variety of care options. Our common areas include- a restaurant style dining room, a cozy living room, an elegant private dining room, movie theater, bistro, library, country kitchen and more. Within our three levels of care we can take care of varying acuities of residents. Our Assisted Living residents have the option of a studio, one bedroom or 2 bedroom apartment complete with a an emergency response call system, full bathroom, 2 closets, kitchenette, personal heating and air conditioner control, and cable television. In addition to the general amenities offered with in their apartment we can bring care into them as needed.

Our Memory Care Neighborhood is a secure community with specific programing for residents with Alzheimer’s and other related dementias. The Join Their Journey program offers structured and spontaneous activities throughout the days that will make your loved one with dementia feel successful as well as open space for residents to wander safely, 3 nutritious meals per day and 3 snacks per day to insure proper nutrition and hydration. We have private and semiprivate suites available in the memory care neighborhood to fit the needs our residents. We offer the only skilled nursing center in Yorba Linda. Our skilled nursing offers 24 hours nursing services both short term rehabilitation and long term care. Our rehab team consist trained nurses, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.

Strong, Caring Professional Relationships

We are an active member in the Yorba Linda community events. We are a member of the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce and participate in events like the annual Taste of Yorba Linda, the Lobster-fest and the City of Yorba Linda Health Fair. Additionally, many members of the local community come to our community to volunteer. We are a host site for the Placentia- Yorba Linda School district volunteer program, many local church groups come in to spend time with our residents as well as the PAWS pet therapy group. In our skilled nursing center we are contracted with St. Jude Heritage to provide rehabilitation services to their patients.

Our Staff

We have approximately 150 team member that work together to care for our residents. Our team consists of nurses, caregivers, certified nursing assistants, dining service, maintenance, house keepings, activities, bus driver, social worker, concierge, and administration. Just as our resident call Emeritus at Yorba Linda home so do our team members. We have numerous team members that have worked here since the community opened in the year 2000 including our dining service director, nurses, caregivers, concierge, and our business office manager. Our team prides themselves on providing the best possible care to our residents.
