The Perfect Location

Our community is located on the corner of Burton and Ulatis. We are across from the Ulatis Community Center and Vacaville Public Library. We are less than half a mile away from the Vacaville Premium Outlets, less than 500 feet away from shopping centers, restaurants, hotels, Stars Recreation Center, 7 miles away from Travis Air Force base. Highway 80 east and west and highway 550 is also blocks away from the community. Highway 12 is approximately 15minutes away. Some local attractions for seniors in our community include the Vacaville Senior Center located down town on Kendall Street. Some field trips we take are to the Vacaville Symphony, Cache Creek, Apple Hill, shopping and/or restaurants every other Friday. Hospitals such as Vaca Valley Hospital, Northbay, Sutter and Kaiser are also located within a 5-10 minute radius.

Set on beautifully landscaped grounds with an outdoor courtyard, Emeritus at Vacaville is one of California's premier assisted living and Alzheimer's communities. Located near Interstate 80 between Sacramento and San Francisco, our senior living community offers a variety of apartment styles. Here our residents — in many cases, with their pets — enjoy retirement living in a warm, family-like atmosphere surrounded by fruit orchards, rolling hills and farmland. Yet a helping hand from our warm, caring staff — many of whom have been with our community for years — is always close by.

A Wonderful Selection

Our community is simple yet elegant. In essence, it feels like a hotel. Our layout of the building is a square, the structure consists of 46 apartments on the first floor with an equal amount on the second floor. Upon moving in our residents can select between a studio, one bedroom, or two bedroom apartment. They vary in location; some have views to our beautiful courtyard with ¼ of a mile walking distance, others enjoy the view of Burton Street with lots of shade giving it a cabin-like feeling, others have views to the front parking lot and/or to the Saratoga Apartments.

Our community has an activity room where socials, birthdays, religious services, exercises, and board games (bingo, dominos, scrabble…etc.) take place. We have a theatre, library, pool table, salon, and laundry room all located upstairs for residents enjoyment. What makes the Vacaville community different from others is; we are a newer community, very classy, clean and you cannot get lost to get to common areas like the dining room, activity room…etc.

Strong, Caring Professional Relationships

Emeritus at Vacaville offers a continuity of care by partnering with local healthcare providers. Our most prominent partnerships include an on-site geriatric physician, Dr. Amacher; an on-site podiatrist, Dr. Lawrence; and Omnicare, a pharmaceutical company. These partnerships are eminently beneficial in addition to the services already being provided. We also partner with hospice care and home health agencies that specialize in physical therapy, behavioral management, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and more. The convenience of having services provided in our community allows for easier accessibility and a more pleasant experience and/or visit for our residents. Our commitment for your loved one is ultimately to gratify their needs and sustain their well-being.

Our employees take pride in their work and definitely put their heart into their daily tasks. We have staff members who have been here for 14+ years that are knowledgeable and experienced. We also have staff that is young and energetic that brings life to our seniors daily living activities. All of our staff poses many qualities, patience, fortitude, perseverance, and humility.
