Wow this place is beautiful inside and out. What amazing place to place a loved one. The staff at this facility should win an award. The greeting I was given when I walked in made me feel like Royalty!! This all before they knew I was there for a tour. I watched them greet all who walked through the door in this manner even the Mail Man. He was even offered a bottle of water for his journey. What a rare site to see such amazing customer service which seems to be a lost art. This place is the cleanest I have ever seen and I see dirt only God can see. The grounds were like the gardens in Europe. The residents were all pleasent and all seemed to be smiling. That was a good sign. This is a very active place with lots of activity the residents were engaged in. Outside there was a spritied game of Horse Shoes...I felt like I had gone back in time, where there was a group playing Chess, I also think I saw a small putting green or they were playing Croquet? One thing I noticed was that the residents were all dressed in what looked like their Sunday Best. I asked was their a dress code and I was told that the residents kind of set that tone themselves. The ladies were all dolled up like they all had somewhere to go. I felt like I was in the era of the 40's or 50's. This facility also houses couples. This facility looks like a Old Victorian Home two Story's. Very very nice I loved seeing the less apartment like setting and seeing this cozy well loved home. This place is a 10 out of 5 stars....I want to live here when I grow old hope it is still around and run but the same staff although they may be living there too by then. This place is amazing check great place for the Grand!!! The Emeritus once again holds true to top notch facilities they offer for the Senior Population. Can not say enough about this facility.

This is an assisted living facility that looks like a Victorian style building in the front and a long stucco apartment style building in the back. They will be undergoing a renovation that includes the exterior and interior. I was able to walk in without being noticed and I wondered about alone; I could have walked into any room undetected. I walked past a group playing word bingo in one of the common areas and no one said anything to me. The dining room was ample and set up restaurant style with a varied menu posted at the entrance. Pets are allowed; a real plus. I was impressed with the emphasis placed on getting input from the residents by holding weekly forums. Unfortunately, the building takes up most of the space on the lot so there isn’t any room left on the lot for an outdoor garden area. The good news is that as a resident becomes more dependent on care they can stay put and transition into hospice care.

This location is right next to the Historic Route 66 and right across from Old Town Upland. It is in a Victorian style home. It is on about half of an acre or more and the inside is all well maintained. It offers many programs and has transportation provided. My grandma loves it there. She loves the staff and it looks like a friendly place to be. Each room has a tv and cable and there is also a living room area that has that as well. I am glad we put my grandma in there because it looks like a good environment for her to be in.
