The Perfect Location

Emeritus at Merced is centrally located in Merced, California’s “Central Valley”. Merced is also close to the Pacific Coast and Yosemite National Park. On a clear day there is a beautiful view of the “Sierra Mountains” off to the east. Highway 99 is a short distance from our community, making travel easy. Even though Merced is a smaller community made up mostly of hardworking farmers, the city of Fresno is only an hour away. Merced is home to “Mercy Hospital and the University of Merced.

Set on beautifully landscaped grounds with an outdoor courtyard, Emeritus at Merced is one of the premier assisted living and Alzheimer’s communities in the Merced area. Located just north of the city, we offer over 80 studios, one and two bedroom apartments on two floors. Here our residents – in many cases, with their pets – enjoy retirement living. Yet should you need a helping hand from our warm and caring staff, we also offer complete assisted living services, tailor-made to your needs. Our services focus on wellness to help you maintain your health, so you can live as independently as possible.

Strong, Caring Professional Relationships

We partner with Focus Healthcare for all of our residents’ Physical, Cognitive, Speech and Occupational therapy needs. We are also partnered with Fresno’s Alzheimer’s Association.
