Partnering with a local Neighborhood Community

Emeritus at Landmark Villa believes in giving back to the community. We have supported and participated in the Castro Valley Arts Festival, Hayward City Festival, Hayward and Castro Valley Chamber events. Our booth offers information to families that are in need of our assistance.

It has allowed us to network with a variety of people and businesses. Our presence in the community creates awareness with our neighbors to inform them Emeritus at Landmark Villa is an option to provide quality care for their loved ones.

Fine Dining

Chef Herbert Ayala has been a wonderful addition to the Residents of Emeritus at Landmark Villa. In 1992, he entered the world of senior living and began his journey as a server. His passion of cooking and love for seniors inspired him to be where he is today.

Chef Ayala holds a certificate in Hospitality Management and is a Dietetic Service Supervisor. Chef Ayala leads his dinning staff by example. You will find him pouring coffee, conversing and joking with residents.

Headed by our residents, the Food Committee meets with Chef Ayala once a month to discuss the menus and their choice selection for the following Candle Light Dinner, which is held monthly to celebrate birthday baby’s of that month.

Holiday buffets are a favorite. A variety of choice meats, salads, soups, fruits and desserts are deliciously on display for residents, guest and families to enjoy.
