Our courtyard community has 87 apartments on two floors with wonderful views of the garden and or the mountains nearby. Whether dining with friends in the dining room, relaxing with a good book in the library or kicking back in the TV room, gazing at the stars under the gazebo or strolling with friends along the walking paths in the courtyard - it give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another and enjoy each other's company. We also offer a wide range of activities each month, home cooked meals, and off-site excursions. Each day at Emeritus of Grand Terrace is about living life to the fullest and letting us take care of all the mundane daily chores.

Alzheimer's and Dementia Care Services

Some residents require higher levels of assistance due to Alzheimer’s, dementia or other memory loss disorders. For these seniors, we offer an innovative program called Join Their Journey®. Our goal is to get to know each resident and his or her family, so that we can offer the right support for every stage of the disease. Through this approach, we recognize individuality, encourage choices and help residents maintain their dignity by creating a safe, personalized and familiar setting that feels comfortable for them.

By enabling our residents to enjoy daily events that are both familiar and pleasurable based on their Life Story, by providing a relationship-based care plan, and by using multi-sensory experiences such as our unique life stations, we are able to join their journey through the various stages of the disease.
