The Perfect Location

Emeritus at Grand Terrace is considered one of the premier assisted living and Alzheimer's communities in the Inland Empire area. Located in the small town of Grand Terrace close to I-215 and I-10, our community offers 87 apartments on two floors. Here our residents — in many cases, with their pets — enjoy retirement living. Yet should you need a helping hand from our loving and caring staff, we also offer complete assisted living services, tailor-made to your needs. We've designed our services to focus on wellness, helping you maintain or improve your health, so you can live as independently as possible.

Grand Terrace lies between mountain ridges. To the east is Blue Mountain, and to the west are the La Loma Hills.

This 3.6 square mile community, with a population of about 14,400 has an average elevation of 1,065 feet. It's motto, inscribed on the City flag is "The Blue Mountain City."

Grand Terrace was originally called "The Terrace" because of its higher ground. Later, the name "Grand" was added referring to the area's lovely view.

Our seniors enjoy the small community feel of Grand Terrace. There are local stores and restaurants to visit. Grand Terrace is located between the cities of San Bernardino and Riverside. We enjoy field trips to Oak Glen Apple Orchards in San Bernardino County as well as the Historic Mission Inn in downtown Riverside. There are also trips to the local Casinos and Farmers Markets.

A Wonderful Selection

Our community consists of 87 units. There are three different floor plans to choose from: Small studio, Alcove (Suite) and a Deluxe Studio unit. The rooms range from 312 square feet to 396 square feet. Most units have kitchenettes and a small refridgerator, two closets and a private bathroom with step in shower.

At Emeritus Senior Living, we offer a full complement of housing, health care, meals, recreational programs and many extra amenities for seniors who can no longer live on their own, but want to maintain their independence.

Our full range of assisted living services are designed to help you maintain or improve your health, so you can live as independently as possible. To ensure we meet individual needs, we use a state-of-the-art computerized assessment system, called the Vigilan Resident Evaluation Program, which helps us accurately evaluate, predict and monitor the appropriate assisted living services for each resident.

Strong, Caring Professional Relationships

We nurture strong relationships with area hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation centers such as: Loma Linda university Medical Center, VA Hospital of Loma Linda, Kaiser in Fontana, Grand Terrace Care Center and reche Canyon Rehabilitation. Through the communications and relationships that we share with key staff within these affiliations, we provide seamless continuum of care for our residents.

Our Staff

Emeritus at Grand Terrace is proud of the longevity of our staff. The care team is comprised of caring and nurturing team members that have tenures as long at 11 years in our building. We are very selective when choosing who will make up this team to serve its residents; only those with the heart of a servant and longevity as a goal are accepted into this family.
