A Wonderful Place to Live
Over the past decade our community has become well known in the area for our innovative approach to caring for seniors with Alzheimer's or Dementia — an approach we call "Join Their Journey." The premise of Join Their Journey®, which is based on research conducted on seniors with Alzheimer's Disease, is simple: We believe that seniors affected by memory disorders still have so much to contribute to life. So our goal is to create a nurturing environment and provide ongoing opportunities every day that allow them to live purposeful, successful lives despite their disease.
We have a wonderful Town Square in our community that hosts many of our activities for our residents. Our Town Square consists of a Floral Shop that provides gardening for our residents who love to garden. We have a Pet Shop for residents who can enjoy pet therapy. We have a Retail Shop for residents who love to shop. We have a beauty shop and barber shop to provide dignity for our residents. We even have a 50's cafe to bring out many wonderful memories our residents experienced in their era. We also host many more activities such as cooking classes, golfing, and outings.
Partnering with the Community
We are part of the Corona Chamber of Commerce and very active with support services for residents in Corona and surrounding areas. We have monthly Sweethearts luncheon and Men’s Luncheon for our family members. And we have support groups for caregivers of people that suffers with Alzheimer’s' or Dementia.
We believe in family participation and are very involved in hosting many joyful events with families of loved ones who live at our community.
Emeritus at Corona is passionate about being active in the community of Corona. Our focus in to hold events that add quality and value to the lives of others. A variety of events are held within our community that will nurture the spirit of people of Corona and to be a resource to them. We hold Alzheimer's support groups, educational seminars to offer help with health issues and financial support.
