Fine Dining

Emeritus at Citrus Heights provides restaurant style dining with a choice of two different entrees served in our neighborhood dining rooms. Meals are not only a time for proper nutrition and good food but also a time for socializing and engaging with other members of the community.

Emeritus considers the dining experience a special time and it is one of the six signatures of "Join Their Journey," our innovative approach to the care of those with Alzheimer's and Dementia. We use contrasting dinnerware and tablecloths so that it not only has a festive appearance but also for the ease of identifying the dinnerware from the linens. Soft, classical music is played in the background to create a soothing atmosphere for enjoying their meal and engaging with others. Special attention is paid to those with medically prescribed diets, those with dietary restrictions, and those with a diminished capacity in using flatware.
