Assisted Living Services

This is our residents’ home for as long as they like, so we do everything we can to help them stay here, even if their health needs change. Many communities require retirement residents to move into a different apartment should they need assisted living services – not so at The Peridot. Once residents move into their apartments, that’s their home and we will bring assisted living services to them. If that means we need to bring in outside services, that’s exactly what we’ll do, whether it’s a physical or occupational therapist, podiatrist, home health provider or hospice caregiver. We spend a lot of time getting to know our residents. As a result, if they are struggling with an activity, we’ll know immediately and can provide just the right assistance they need. We also try to match our staff with the needs of our residents; for example, one of our Resident Assistants has become known for her ability to help residents with showering, so we’ll pair her with those residents who need assistance with bathing and grooming. We truly believe that we are guests in our residents’ home, and we are here to be of service to them.
