Emeritus at Peoria Community Testimonials

The feeling I get every time I step foot into Emeritus at Peoria is very home-like. The atmosphere is so welcoming and there is just a certain warmth that I love about the place. The staff are also very nice, I really admire the great lengths they go to make the residents happy. During my last visit they were having one of their "celebration" days which is where they pick a day or a couple of days every month to celebrate some fun and quirky topic, such as "Root Beer day" or "funny hat day". The residents love doing this and they actually kind of go all out for it. Anyways, so they were celebrating their monthly theme and I spoke with one of the residents who lived there who told me that the activities that they do at the facility really keep her feeling young. She said that she had lived at another facility before Emeritus at Peoria and she said the most exciting thing they had to look forward to every week was lawn bowling. She said that this place was a true blessing. She said that all of the staff treat her so nicely and that she feels so comfortable, she told me that there is no where else she would rather be. That is the type of comment I hear often from the residents here. Emeritus at Peoria provides an active, loving, and fun home for their residents and the care team is made up of caring and wonderful people. I truly believe that Emeritus at Peoria will make an exceptional home for your loved ones.
